1 X 25 MIN DOCUMENTARY FILM

For centuries, Palestinians relied on hundreds of ground and rainwater wells for their survival. Yet, under Israeli control, many of these vital resources have been systematically destroyed. This documentary, made with Oxfam in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, contrasts the lives of two farmers, one Palestinian, one Israeli, offering a unique insight into their divided realities.

Alongside fixers in both Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, I began the search for characters who would encapsulate the issues, and agree to be filmed – not an easy task in this challenging political environment.

Working on this film opened my eyes to the complexities of the Palestinian-Israeli challenge, where both two sides rarely have the chance to see the perspective of the other. This film helped bridge the divide.
