This short documentary, made with the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) explores the connection between health and climate change. It highlights the urgent need for cities to adapt to the rising temperatures fuelled by fossil fuel emissions. Using Athens as a case study, this film champions nature-based solutions to safeguard residents and visitors from the heat.

Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges and stories of human history. As such, it was an honour to be asked by WMO to make a short documentary film on the health challenges facing cities in adapting to heatwaves, which are becoming more extreme year on year.
The final short documentary film was shown at COP29, as a tool to inform policy makers on the often overlooked link between health and climate change.
“Our project was transformed into a captivating story that conveyed a complex subject for a diverse audience.
